With 25 years of loyal support of the Village Bakery we continue to bring you this fast, flat and chip-timed half. Starting on Dunster Road and finishing at 'The Club House' Oak Road on Wrexham Industrial Estate, this classic race is popular with some of the fastest runners in the region as well as those tackling the distance for the first time. It is a well marshalled course with plenty of support and drink stations.

£300.00 cash for 1st, £200.00 for 2nd & £100.00 3rd Open male and female and cash prizes for 1st place in Vet Categories. Team prize for 1st Male and Female Teams as well as the tasty baked goodies for all finishers courtesy of the Village Bakery.

Entrants must be 17 and over on race day. £15.00 for UKA Affiliated Runners and £17.00 for non-UKA affiliated runners until 1st March 2019 when the price will rise to £21/£23. The late entry fee is £23/£25 which applies from 1st December 2019.

Free entry to elite runners who have posted a 1.10 or quicker half (men) or 1.20 half (women), 2.30 or quicker marathon (men) or 2.50 (women) in /2018/2019.  Please contact us for consideration or with details of other times at the other classic distances.

As this is a UKA affiliated race and we do not have a full road closure the wearing of head phones is not allowed except for bone-conducting headphones such as Aftershokz.

Due to our responsibility to our marshals and the potential for bad weather at that time of year we have a cut off time of two hours and forty five minutes. If it becomes apparent at the 10 mile mark that you are not going to make the time you may be asked to board the sweep bus. If you do not board the sweep vehicle then we cannot guarantee first aid cover, marshals will still be on the course or that you will appear in the results.

There is plenty of free parking near the start.

The race will again incorporate the North Wales Half Marathon championships and we will again add additional cash prizes for the top three men and women.
